NALC Business Agent Mike Caref is running for NALC President in 2026
Reelected national business agent for Region 3 in 2022 at the 72nd Biennial NALC Convention.
First elected national business agent in 2014.
Caref served from 2010 to 2014 as vice president of Chicago Branch 11.
Career as a unionist began in 2000, serving for 10 years as a steward for Chicago’s Ravenswood Station Caref.
Served as the Illinois State Association of Letter Carriers’ Muscular Dystrophy Association coordinator from 2001 to 2009,
A delegate-at-large for the Illinois State Association from 2011 to 2013.
